The studio is located in the heart of Sheffield city centre, across from the train station and above the Sheffield Site Gallery. We’re right across the road from the Sheffield Hallam Students Union, so it’s easy to find and access the studio.
We’re located on the first floor, with elevator access if you’re carrying a lot of equipment.
Find us on the 1st Floor, 1 Brown St, Sheffield, S1 2BS.
We’ll be ready for your arrival and will prepare the studio beforehand to accommodate any requests on your order.
The main entrance into the building is located on the far left hand side of the building. If we don’t greet you at the door, use the intercom to call Aspect Ratio Studio – we’ll answer, buzz you into the lobby and meet you downstairs.
Please arrive on time for your booking. Set up time is included in your slot, however if you need to arrive early to set up equipment this may be possible, please let us know in advance so we can make sure the studio is available.
However, sometimes delays happen, so don’t worry if you’re running a little behind. If you are going to be late, please let us know as soon as possible!
We’re located in the heart of the city centre, so there’s plenty of places to park.
The nearest carpark is the NCP Sydney St carpark. There is also street parking outside the studio (though it is usually full!).
The next nearest car parks include the NCP train station car park and the multi-story car park on Eyre St.
Aspect Ratio Studio is a two minute walk from Sheffield train station and a three minute walk from the Sheffield bus station.
If you’re using the tram, the nearest stop is Cathedral, and its a short five-ten minute walk.
If you’re coming via parachute, look out for the LED sign that says “everything is different today”.
Dry Hire
If you’ve booked a Dry Hire session, then you’ll need to bring all the equipment you need for your session. The only equipment provided will be the Bluetooth controlled studio lighting and a range of coloured backdrops (let us know which colour you’d like on the special request section of the checkout page).
Wet Hire
If you’ve booked a Wet Hire session, then you don’t need to bring anything with you equipment-wise unless you want to. You will need to bring any props, scripts or extras that you want to include in your video.
